BATN Foundation Boosts Agriculture

British American Tobacco Nigeria Foundation, BATNF, has donated a cassava-processing factory to Achoze community in Okene Local Government area of Kogi State. The project, which is the second the foundation has executed in the state, is equipped with modern processing equipment such as cassava grater, pressers, sifters, fermentation racks and stainless steel fryers. Advertisers Spend N103 Billion

Above-the-line advertising activities recorded a growth of five per cent as advertising agencies increased their spending from N97.5 billion in 2010 to N102.7 billion as at end of 2011. The advertising activities include television, radio, outdoor and press. According to Mediafacts, an annual publication of MediaReach OMD, an independent agency, television had N46.076, radio N13.142; outdoor N28.142 while N15.395 was spent on the press.   Mediafacts also noted that while the Lagos region accounted for N55.7 billion, the North had N20.1 billion; the east N11.4 billion and the West accounted for the N15.46 billion.
