Many mothers-to-be relish the idea of nine months of eating and giving in to cravings of pickles and ice cream. But, a new study indicates that women who gain excessive weight during pregnancy are more likely to have heavier babies, and these children may grow up with long-term adverse health consequences. Blindness, a condition of lacking visual perception due to physiological or neurological factors, has always been one of the major health challenges confronting the world. According to the World Health Organisation, WHO, statistics, about 285 million are visually impaired, 246 million have low vision while 39 million are said to be blind.
