Joseph Kolawole, aka Pa Kolawole Buried
Joseph Atanda Makinde Kolawole, on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the St. Peter’s Anglican Church, Iremo, Ile-Ife, Osun State. Pa Kolawole, as he was fondly called, was born on July 14, 1916 into the family of late Pa Emmaunel Makinde and Mama Efundoyin Makinde (nee Oromoka). He followed his parents to Abeokuta in the Old Western Region where his father worked in the railways. This was where he spent his early years until his father was transferred to Ile Ogbo. Residents of Surulere, Lagos, will now begin to experience a true 3D cinema experience, as Filmhouse Cinemas Limited, a cinema development company opens Filmhouse Surulere, an ultra-modern cinema centre at Leisure Mall, Adeniran Ogunsanya, Surulere.
