Like a masquerade, musician Lagbaja made a triumphal entry into public consciousness on Sunday, November 20, when he appeared at the Blue Roof of Eko FM radio station, during this year's EMUfest packaged by Eniobanke Music company. The masked one was the cynosure of all eyes as he walked tall into the venue during Beautiful Nubia's performance.
After being out public glare for a long time since his last album, Lagbaja gladly embraced friends and fans who greeted him at the gathering of folk music enthusiasts. Everyone at the venue was eager to get a piece of his delightful music, as they posed for photos with the music icon. He also paid homage to elder musicians Orlando Julius and Pa Chris Ajilo at back stage. Singer and talent judge, Yinka Davies, as well as dancer Latoya Aduke, all welcomed him with joy.
The musician has just come out of hibernation with a new single "Knock, knock, knock" on the airwaves and the public showing is believed to be part of the publicity for its promotion.
