Ten Universities in Nigeria are among nineteen institutions approved by the World Bank’s Board of Directors to benefit from its $150 million earmarked to finance university-based Centres of Excellence in seven countries in West and Central Africa.  
  Contrary to its previous claim, the Nigerian Army has admitted that most of the schoolgirls abducted in Borno by suspected Boko Haram members on Monday are yet to be rescued. Chris Olukolade, the defence spokesman, revealed this in a statement issued earlier today.
