Five people were killed overnight at the Ile Ife residence of Rotimi Makinde, Action Congressof Nigeria candidate in the Ife Central Constituency in Osun state on Friday April 8.
Our correspondent says Police are carting away the dead bodies ostensibly to deposit them in the mortuary.
It is surprising that there would be violence in the constituency because it is one of the places where elections have been postponed due to the absence of the logo of the Accord Party on the ballot papers delivered by INEC.
