NJC recommends reinstatement of suspended Justice Salami

Justice Ayo Salami

The National Judicial Council has recommended the reinstatement of suspended President of the Court of Appeal, Justice Isa Ayo Salami.

The Council during a Two-day meeting which ended Thursday evening agreed after much deliberation to reinstate the embattled Justice. The Council also agreed that a letter be written to President Goodluck Jonathan to reinstate the jurist.

Justice Salami was suspended in August last year following his face-off with the immediate past Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Aloysius Katsina-Alu.

The Nigerian judiciary is in a mess! This Ayo Salami of a justice should be in jail. It's obvious this man is corrupt. What a shame!
